Have you ever had one of those moments in your life when you're snapped back to reality and just think, "This isn't right? I need to stop,"? Pandemic birthday "fun"

Well, it's official... I am now 36. I am in my late 30s... 4 years away from 40. That alone would be enough to make anyone scared of their birthday! I went into this birthday very weary. Not just because of ::gestures wildly:: but because my birthdays are always disastrous. To say that yesterday was a rollercoaster of emotions is the understatement of the year.

Everyone has something that inspires them. Maybe they read a book at a young age that made them want to be a writer. Maybe they had a teacher that showed them they could be and do more. For me, I find inspiration from a lot of things. From people I admire who never gave up on their dreams, from nature... even from myself.

Reflections

2 months... that's what today is... the 2 month mark. It's crazy when you think about it. Sometimes when I think about life before, it feels like it was years ago. As much as the self-isolation and self-quarantine sucks (A LOT), it's just become so normal. Need fresh air? Go to the roof. Need supplies? Make sure you buy enough for a couple weeks. The "new" normal is now just... normal.
